Welcome

STRIKE is a student group at Florida State University dedicated to reducing the use of tobacco on our campus and expanding the Breathe Easy initiative at FSU. Our goal is to involve as many individual students and student groups as possible. We need your help. For starters, take our short survey!

Our program is structured so any student regardless of major will gain career related valuable skills while contributing to a good cause. Students can expect to learn in a professional environment while working alongside graduate students and faculty members. We encourage any student looking to gain leadership experience in areas such as event planning, marketing, health education, research, and policy change to consider participating in our organization.

As a STRIKE member you will develop and provide prevention and intervention activities while the professional staff provides technical support, guidance and inspiration. Our approach is based on mutual respect for both the smoker and non-smoker while allowing FSU students to decide the best strategy for reducing tobacco use.

Student Organizations such as Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity, Black Student Union, Health Students of America, SISTUHS, and the KARMA Peer Health Educators have pledged their support for STRIKE's tobacco prevention activities and the pledges continue to rise!
